Version history

1.0.11 15 Aug 2026

  • The Hall of Honor. Enshrine a player or a coaching career from Settings, then see it lit up on their card.
  • Need a clutch stop in the second half? It is on you now. Press, make the play, get the steal, and chain the moment straight into the break.
  • Injuries actually fire now. A bug was stopping them.
  • The sim is rebalanced. Overall rating was weighted too heavily, so upsets are more likely and teams no longer routinely start 14-0 or run the table.
  • Improved offensive AI logic for more realistic possessions.
  • More places your coach can be from, with a better location picker.
  • Improved practice UI, and the Auto Spend button now follows a priority.
  • The Program tab is much improved. Facilities and coaches explain what they actually do.
  • Minute distribution is respected in sim games. When you play, it follows however you sub.
  • Misc bug fixes and UI improvements.

1.0.10 4 Aug 2026

  • The shot meter is reworked. Greens are perfect, and yellow is heavily buffed and tied more to player ratings.
  • Signing Day. If a recruit is still on your board when the season ends, the window no longer closes behind your back. You get an alert, a screen with every kid still waiting, and one shot to make your offer.
  • Recruiting tightens as the season ends. Fewer prospects stay available late, and every recruit reaches a real decision instead of quietly signing somewhere.
  • Player development is overhauled. Players accrue points as they level up and can be upgraded through the season, and offseason training pays boosts and points to spend.
  • Changing difficulty now makes a bigger difference to how the game plays.
  • Defensive AI is improved and tuned.
  • Your uniforms follow the venue. Home whites at home, your road kit on the road.
  • End of season notifications no longer bury your recap.
  • Taking a new job charges you honestly. Your inherited roster arrives with real contracts, and your NIL fund arrives funded for them.
  • You can reach NIL HQ from Lock Your Roster, so you can move money while you decide who to keep.
  • Fixed a bug causing team editor changes not to display properly.
  • UI fixes and misc bug fixes.

1.0.8 25 Jul 2026

  • An eight-region recruiting map, reachable from the top of the recruiting tab.
  • Pipelines you earn: from a toehold at P1 to a fortress at P5, cutting action costs and boosting interest. Some programs start with anchored pipelines from their history.
  • Assistant coaches and staff arrive, and a recruit may care how good your coaching staff is.
  • Recruiting superlatives on player cards: State POY, All-State, All-Region, All-American, and the All-World team for international recruits.
  • Offers now show what percentage a recruit likes your offer, plus how he evaluates your program.
  • Fixed: Alaska did not exist on the map.

1.0.7 20 Jul 2026

  • Your week is twenty hours and you decide where they go. Reaching out, scouting, flying a recruit in. Nothing is free, so nothing is automatic.
  • The campus visit is real. Invite a recruit to a game, and what happens on that floor is what he remembers.
  • One offer, one answer. Every recruit closes the same way, from a two-star to a five-star.
  • The game starts you coaching. No forced tutorial before you can play.

1.0.5 13 Jul 2026

  • Drive the rim, force the defense to help, and the man they left goes backdoor. Hold the ball, release in the green, and throw it down.
  • Season awards name your All-Americans, All-Conference team, Conference Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year.

1.0.4 8 Jul 2026

  • Fixed an issue that could stop some players getting past Coach Create or Play Now on smaller screens.
  • The first-run walkthrough now teaches recruiting hands-on.
  • More reliable saving when you advance the calendar.

1.0.2 29 Jun 2026

  • Multiple save slots now save and load reliably, so you can keep several dynasties going without losing progress.
  • Every school now has a fuller cast of boosters behind your NIL budget.
  • Free-throw bonus and one-and-one kick in as the fouls pile up.

1.0.1 26 Jun 2026

  • Fixed a rare freeze that could happen when shooting right as the shot clock expired.
  • Rebalanced the NIL economy so your starting budget and costs scale to your program.

1.0 25 Jun 2026

  • Bit College Basketball launches on the App Store. 364 teams, 32 conferences, and a dynasty to build.

Bit College Basketball is a retro pixel-art college hoops dynasty for iPhone and Android. Take over a program, recruit it, coach it, and build it into something that hangs banners, one possession at a time.

The on-court game is arcade-simple: time up your shot and let it rip. Play it possession by possession when you want the whole game, or drop in for only the clutch moments when you don't. The crowd lets you know exactly what it thinks either way, and the endgame plays like the tournament.

Off the court you run the entire program. Recruit high schoolers and work the transfer portal, and keep an eye on your own roster, because players can leave through it too. Keep the team happy and on the court. Manage an NIL fund where the donors have agendas, players want more than they're worth, and the money runs short at the worst possible time.

Pick any of 364 teams across 32 conferences and make them yours: rename and recolor any program, redesign the jerseys, create your own coach. Then run it for decades: recruit, graduate, rebuild, repeat.
